Predators in the Sky

I have two sets of permanent resident eagles and great horned owls. I'm thinking of setting up an ark.

The owls are my favorites.

They're BACK---The Eagle Cafeteria

This weekend I didn't really realize that I had become an eagle cafeteria. Fishing isn't the only draw here on our little eden. Wood rats in the wood pile are the real draw and the entree of choice this morning.

Female eagle fishing w/an eye for wood rats.

Eagle peek-a-boo I see you and the camera.

Eagle entree- a 5 inch long fresh wood rat.

My yummy, delicious wood rat.

Meadowlarks in the Back Pasture
